I very much disagree. Gram negative bacteria (which stain a very pretty shade of pink) are increasingly becoming more and more drug resistant. Examples of scary pink microbes include:

• Pseudomonas aerginosa (sepsis and pneumonia)
• Escherichia coli (y’all know what e coli is)
• Shigella species (deadly diarrhea)
• Haemophilus influenza (child meningitis)
• Salmonella species (super shitty food poisoning)
• Helicobacter pylori (stomach ulcers)
• Campylobacter species (food poisoning)
• Neisseria gonnorreae (gonorrhea)
