I recently got purple candle wax on my tan carpet. Here’s what you can do to get it out!
What you need: an iron and a damp paper towel.
Place the damp paper towel over the wax. I folded a piece over so there were 2 layers. I had the iron turned up as hot as it would go, the “cotton” setting, on mine. Press the iron onto the paper above the wax stain. Let sit for a few seconds. Then, as you press down with a bit of pressure, move the iron back and forth as you drag it across the paper towel. Keep doing so until you see the color of the wax start to appear on the towel. Keep moving it around to “clean” parts of the towel and repeat until all of it comes up!
*Depending on how long your carpet is, you may need to push it aside to make a “crevice” to get deep into it, if the wax melted down to the base of the carpet.
