Nutella Deviled Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pint of Strawberries
  • Nutella
  • Chopped Nuts

Instructions:

  1. Wash
    and hull strawberries. Slice in half. Using the tip of your knife,
    create a little hole or groove in the center of the strawberry halves.
  2. Spoon
    nutella into the corner of a zip lock bag and cut corner off. Squeeze
    and fill each strawberry half and sprinkle with nuts. Serve or store in
    refrigerator.

Vegan Chocolate Orange Crêpes

Ingredients:

For the Crêpes

  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour 
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate soy milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ tbsp cacao powder
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cloves 

For the Cream

  • 1 tsp orange juice
  • 1 can full fat coconut milk chilled
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Topping

  • 2 oranges sliced

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients for the crêpes in a bowl excluding the oil. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add about 3 tbsp worth of batter to the pan. Cook the crêpe until bubbles start to form on the top then flip it over. 
  2. For the cream combine the orange juice and powdered sugar in a bowl. Open the can and scoop out the hard top part of the coconut milk out and add to the bowl. With an electric mixer mix until the cream becomes stiff. 
  3. Peel the oranges and slice thinly. Once everything is finished you can assemble your crêpes. Enjoy!
