– Despite being known for the psychic organ in their ears, Espurr and Meowstic are actually deaf by human standards. They ‘hear’ by reading slight changes in the air currents and picking up the feelings of trainers and other pokemon using their psychic abilities.
– Mudkip and their evolutions have pretty poor eyesight, but they get around just fine thanks to their sensitive fins, which are capable of detecting the slightest vibrations both in and out of water. In fact, a famous Swampert who helped his trainer win the Pokemon League in Hoenn is actually completely blind.
– The fur in Fennekins’ ears is not as thick as it looks but in fact very light and airy, almost like feathers. It’s the same for its evolutions. Contrary to popular belief, their ears don’t need cleaning, thanks partly to the fur which keeps dirt and debris out, and also because the extreme heat that they expel out their ears takes care of any unwanted bacteria.
– Ralts and its evolutions are strict vegetarians, and while some might accept a bit of meat or cheese as a snack, trainers should avoid giving them these foods, as they can’t digest it.
wait hold on yall didnt just use the machop that resists rollout, is immune to attract from female pokemon, can ko normal-types in like two hits if you just train it a little, and is basically given to you for free in the very same city you fight whitney????
So with all the info coming out of the Pokemon Gold and Silver Demo that was found, I figured I’d make a neat little post showing Pokemon that were Cut from the game or Heavily Changed before full release organized in a neat sheet. And with the color sprites!
While it is a shame some of these never say the light of day (that Ditto Evolution is personal favorite), there are also some things that are better left on the cutting room floor.
