This page is a great idea, so thank you for taking the time to do this! I’m looking mainly for help with anatomy; something feels off in this picture and I think it’s the eyes, but I can’t tell for sure. Thanks!
I agree with you – the eyes are a little bit off! In my opinion, they’re concentrated too far to the front of the face. The eyes, specifically, and the mouth, seem to be acting on a different center line than the nose. Drawing guide lines before you draw – right down the center of the face – will help you with that.
Another thing I want to mention is perspective – in the original picture, the eyes are both the same size and shape… but at ¾ profile, the eye further from you will appear a little bit ‘squished’ or a little smaller.
