i’m not asking for the entire amount of the surgery but this will help me a lot. kind of embarrassing but i desperately need this surgery and cannot pay for it on my own. my insurance won’t pay for anything and i am assuming it’s because i am on a free low income one my state provides
i’ve currently saved up about $180 but that barely puts a dent in the price
cannot find my other post so i will just update this one. i have had to put all the money i had previously saved (not from donations, those are in a savings account that i will and have not touched) towards medical bills, my medication, and testosterone because my insurance is not currently covering them. i cannot afford to have even more bills go to collections.
i am relying almost entirely on donations at this point for this surgery. my parents cannot help me at all financially despite being otherwise supportive, they are poor and live pay check to pay check. i am not able to work more than 30 hours a week or my insurance will cut me off, they still pay for my weekly therapy sessions so i obviously do not want that to happen
the dysphoria i feel because of my chest is debilitating. lately it has been exceptionally bad, i often don’t want to leave my house even with a binder on. some people have asked for proof that i am transgender and considering the amount of scams on here i don’t mind sharing these
