So putting ourselves into the shoes of the model/person we draw — trying to feel how they feel physically and emotionally—- increases the likelihood of the story and emotion coming across in the drawing.
(hopefully the way I wrote that makes sense)

I believe that empathy and vulnerability are a key part of living a life of substance and meaning, so it has been cool to see how that idea can bring more substance into creativity as well.
