Artist Feature series highlights one of our incredible mixed-race contributors every day of the Kickstarter campaign, both to help us fund and to showcase the voices of all of our artists :]

Artist Feature #3 belongs to none other than Kiana Khansmith. Kiana is a biracial, Japanese Jamaican artist from Hawaii. She studied animation in Oakland, California and currently works in the industry as a storyboard artist for television.

Her non-fiction story, “Hair”
is a humorous look at being true to yourself- even if your mixed hair doesn’t necessarily want to cooperate!
