APPLICATIONS OPEN IN A WEEK!
Here’s a post with everything that will be in the applications forms!

REMINDER
Applications will open on October 8th at 6pm UTC+2.
It will be done through a Google form.
There will be 300 applications spots. Once they’re all filled or else on October 29th, you won’t be able to submit yours.
We’ll select 20 to 30 artists and some pinch-hitters*.
*back-up artists in case a selected artist can’t participate after all

WHAT WE WILL ASK ON THE FORMS

• Applicant informations

General infos: Name/Alias, pronouns, mail, if the person has discord as our communications are on it (if you don’t, no worries, we will send mails with the most important infos)

A portfolio
We take:
– easy to navigate personal website
– easy scrollable social media (tumblr/instagram)
– Artstation
– Google drive links
We won’t take:
– portfolio files or .pdf
We don’t need a minimal amount of work in the portfolio, it’s just a tool for us to get a wide view of your work

3 to 4 pieces of your choice to put forward for your application
– If you want to do a comic or a research/sketch page for the zine, we suggest putting an example for the fourth one
– If you want to do traditional art for the zine, make sure you show us at least one example, so we know you can scan it properly
– If you don’t have any finished illustration featuring armor, you can include armor sketches for the fourth one

(optional) a social media link

• Content preference

If you’d be interested in doing a double page:
– with a full large illustration
– with on one page concept/sketches/researches and on the second page, an illustration
– with on one page a small one page comic and on the second, an illustration involving the character(s) from the short comic
– either
We’d like to always have an illustration in any case, so there won’t be artists doing “just a comic”.

Just a rough concept, a bunch of quick ideas, are ok! We don’t ask you to tell us the colors you want to use or the composition of the illustration, just something like “a training knight” is ok
