Or you could get a 9 to 5 job in a big chain corporation that deals in flowers, books, films or baked goods, learn the ropes for a few years, and then start your own small business knowing how the industry works.  On average, entrepreneurs in America are 39 and have spent 10 years working for a big company in the same industry as the business they start. Your delightful dream is delicately doable.
