Robin being a total badass.

#favorite thing about this season#the show knows robin is the youngest#and also knows that he’s the most…hardcore#like#every single time#he’s always the first to react#every situation#he’s the first to move#the first to do what needs to be done#robin might be a lighthearted presence and the first to crack a smile but he’s deadly serious about The Work#he’s dealing with stuff in gotham that the other kids – even the older kids – have never been exposed to#robin is hard-fucking-core#it’s why i love that episode when he and artemis are trapped in the cave#when artemis is freaking out and he tells her to ‘get traught or get dead’#he’s SO trained#so aware that there’s no room for panic if you want to survive#‘how can you be so calm about this?!’#‘practice.  i’ve been doing this since i was nine.’#that’s fucking right#all the kids are awesome and they’re all heroes#but the first season of this show consistently reminds you that robin is on a different level skill-wise
