Homage to my late great aunt who was a proud bisexual polynesian dancer and literally gave -0.14 fucks during all her beautiful and quite extravangant life

She was beautiful, full of life, mesmerizing and so dangerous . She took from so many and gave us everything

Reasons why my great aunt was THAT cool:

– She was raised in Tahiti, in a time period where polynesian culture was basically forbiden. Speaking tahitian was punished, especially at school, along with chest nudity. (Which really wasn’t a problem before)

– Traditional dances and having tattoos were also extremely tabu and slutshamed, especially among girls. But my auntie gave absolutely no fucks and learned to dance on her own, becoming one of the most famous tahitian dancer at her time and gave a big fuck you to the rules by enrolling young girls and teaching them to be proud of their culture and body.

– Auntie was so appreciated by our people, wherever she would go, everything was free. Bars, hotels, trips to other islands, etc. All she had to do was dance for the room et be herself.

– She dated rich guys only. Nobody knew where she found them, they came from all around the world just to see her and she played along with it, receiving many gifts that she gave her family entirely (including lands, which I live in at the moment)

– she also had many girlfriends, all were married. Most of her dates were married actually hah

– she traveled the world a lot. Dancing in New York, France, Italy and many others. And all of the trips were gifted to her by her partners. But she always came back to her mother island and to her family

– she grew up in a poor and abusive environment along with her 5 siblings

– she took care of my mother and her siblings while their mom, my aunt’s sister was working all day and night to feed them. Auntie used to play cards a lot and gave all the money she won to them.

– she ended up marrying a humble raivavae local called Heremoana who was very chill with her partying tendencies. He loved her so much and was so proud of her

– She also grew very sick. She had to amputate her leg and was unable to dance for the rest of her life. She lived with us and honestly, she was a very scary old lady and could sometimes be really mean. But I always respected her and loved her until the end
