uh no?? perhaps we as lesbians should…. u know…. address the issues in our community, one of which can be biphobia. ignoring prejudiced members of our community does not make them less prejudiced.

my response to “i dont date people specifically if they have this marginalized identity” is, well… who you choose to date is your business, but that does make you a bit bigoted. like no ones making you date bi girls but if you dont date women specifically because they are bi that does make you biphobic and theres no way around that. you can date who you want, but dont pretend to be an ally to groups of people who you think are undatable.

My allyship to a demographic shouldn’t be defined by my romantic availability to them.

this isnt about being “available” to people. its about you thinking that you can say there is something about being bi that makes a woman inherently someone you dont want to date and still also be supportive of bi women. those two ideologies just arent compatible

Arguing with OP is pointless. She’s a radfem and a TERF. When she says bi women, she’s including lesbians who date trans women. Just let her stew in her own bigotry and don’t waste your energy.

Anyway, refusing to date someone for no reason other than they’re bi (or they’re not a transphobe) is completely invalid and not acceptable and is a blatant show of hatred on your part. Die mad about it.
